Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and OpenDinkers, the company that runs this platform. They cover hosts who list a court, the people a host adds to their team, and players who book a court.

You accept them by making an account, by listing a court, or by asking for a booking. If you do not accept them, please do not use the platform.

We can change these terms, and the date at the top of this page says when the current version came into force. The cancellation rule your booking was made under is saved with that booking, so a later change cannot reach a booking you already hold.

OpenDinkers is booking software. We are not a bank, we are not a payment service, and we hold money for nobody. At no point is there a balance of ours sitting between a player and a host.

A host switches on the ways they want to be paid and enters their own details for each one. A player pays the host through one of those, or in person at the court. We take no share of it and we add nothing to the court's price.

Because we never hold the money, we cannot refund a payment for a host and we cannot settle an argument about one. A refund is made by the host, with whatever they took the payment with. Where a host uses an outside payment company, that company's own rules apply to that payment too.

A host must describe each court as it really is: where it is, what it costs, when it is open, and what a player will find on arrival. A court that does not exist, or a price that is not the real price, can be taken off the site.

A host keeps their own calendar. You set opening hours for each court, charge a different amount at different times of day, close a court when you need to, and decide every request yourself. Nothing is booked over your head.

OpenDinkers does not open doors, gates or lockers, and we sell and fit no hardware. Every confirmed booking carries a short code and a QR pass. On the Pro and Club plans a host can use them to check a player in from the phone they already have. If a court is locked, the host is still the one who lets a player in.

A booking is an agreement between the player and the host. We are not part of it. The host sets the terms, decides the request, and is the one who has to be there.

Two people cannot hold the same court at the same time. That is not a promise about careful software: the database refuses the second one outright, so an overlap cannot be written even by mistake.

We take no part in an argument about the game itself: a line call, who turned up late, or how a court was left. Those are between the people who were there.

A host pays one flat amount for the software. There is no commission on a booking, on any plan, and nothing is added to what a player pays.

The price depends on the country the host's business is in, so the table below is the price for United States. The tax is inside the price you see.

A yearly plan is charged once and works out at ten months for twelve. You can cancel in your own settings at any time: the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops, and there is no fee for stopping.

Most of this platform runs on trust: a host says a court is free, and a player turns up. These are the things that break it, and any of them can get a court taken off the site or an account stopped.

OpenDinkers does not own, run, inspect or insure any court. An injury, a wet surface, a broken net, a light that does not work, or something of yours that goes missing are between you and the host of that court.

We do not promise the site is always available. We try, and we cannot guarantee it. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what follows from it: a game you missed, a request that never arrived, or takings you expected.

These terms can change. The date at the top says when this version came into force. When we change them, we post the new version on this page with a new date. If a change affects what you pay, we post it at least 14 days before it starts. To reach us, email hello@opendinkers.com.

We store what the product needs to work and no more. Your card details never reach us: they go to the payment company your host has chosen, and we never see them.

These terms follow the laws of the country OpenDinkers is run from: Philippines. If we cannot settle a dispute by talking, it goes to the courts of South Cotabato, Philippines. This does not take away any right the consumer law where you live gives you.
